That is, I believe, the essence of "swing knitting", or at least as much as was demo'd by one of our local shop owners when she first stocked the special needles with removable bobbles. I thought at the time that they were just dpn's with easily-lost stoppers to turn them into ridiculously short straight needles, when one could just as easily use a circular!Judithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10246286726623570467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8466385.post-85401293288658564982012-02-22T16:57:00.794+00:002012-02-22T16:57:00.794+00:00I agree with Dawn. Lovely yarn, but I made a vest that has a distinct darker area around the middle. The Madelinetosh is such lovely yarn, though. I am finishing a lace scarf in Pashmina, and the non-knitters can believe it is wool. Did you read the piece by Donald Hall in the jan 23 New Yorker? It reminded me of your recent post. (I am always beind in reading them.)Mary Louhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05588244535423212079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8466385.post-55462799174878024402012-02-22T11:39:35.887+00:002012-02-22T11:39:35.887+00:00Jean
