When I looked at the pictures on the SHP website, the example on the DVD looks like the unspun icelandic yarn which is Meg's favorite yarn. This would produce quite a sturdy fabric compared to sock yarn.

You may want to try the sleeve on, pinning it to your own sleeve at various heights to test how your fabric is "blousing" (not sure if that's actually a word). Then you've some idea of how long you'd like the sleeve to be.

Hope the weather cooperates for your journey to London.stash haushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10244605573080920528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8466385.post-33828970780974935572010-12-08T20:32:03.538+00:002010-12-08T20:32:03.538+00:00I have only ever used it as it is in 2b. "Writing Home" is linked for ever in my mind as the book I was reading in my father's last days. Recently, I have found some of his sentence structures irritating, rather than just idiosyncratic.shandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17372329387935318023noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8466385.post-46055034338948067972010-12-08T16:31:27.857+00:002010-12-08T16:31:27.857+00:00I share Humpty's attitude to word use, but do ...I share Humpty's attitude to word use, but do not allow others the same privilege.
-- GretchenAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8466385.post-56733751936392769662010-12-08T12:01:58.939+00:002010-12-08T12:01:58.939+00:00I also read everyday, but, predictably, do not kno...I also read everyday, but, predictably, do not know how to be a follower.rosesmamanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8466385.post-82144886927922454542010-12-08T11:33:40.338+00:002010-12-08T11:33:40.338+00:00I agree with you about 1a and 1b - but I would hav...I agree with you about 1a and 1b - but I would have extended to 2a.

I come from a family of happy pedants - always throwing things at the television and marking the newspaper in red pen!Anitanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8466385.post-7954068705912686502010-12-08T09:34:44.038+00:002010-12-08T09:34:44.038+00:00Jean,
