You are supposed to be looking after those two humans you know!
More seriously. We had the same problem with the carers for my father's brother. Each time he went into hospital - a quite frequent occurrence we were expected to inform the carers "immediately". As they were sometimes the same people who were informing us it was a slightly ridiculous situation. The system then had to be re-activated - medical certificate and phone calls etc. It never stopped completely but there were times when he went without a shower for a week - not at all nice in very hot weather. I lived too far away to help (and his only child lives in London). So, I sympathise madly.catdownunderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06959328192182156574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8466385.post-86674107538552989942016-01-08T20:42:06.004+00:002016-01-08T20:42:06.004+00:00I agree with annec in Maryland...Perdita probably ...I agree with annec in Maryland...Perdita probably made that high jump when the crash came and landed oddly on that right leg. And don't be surprised if she pulls a similar disappearing act if there are any loud bangs/crashes in future. My kitty absolutely hates loud noises, ever since the tree hit our roof in the derecho of 2013.

Good luck with getting the caretakers sorted out, too. annec in Marylandnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8466385.post-72778683843757657592016-01-08T16:56:54.474+00:002016-01-08T16:56:54.474+00:00Thank heavens Perdita has shown up! Mine does most days. Even if you do need an appointment it would be worth phoning to see if you could be squeezed in. Then get in a taxi and take her. Chances are though it's just a bump and she'll be fine with a bit of rest. If she screams in pain when you touch it though (rather than just growl and nip you) then an x-ray might be necessary.
Isabellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00665920652403665430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8466385.post-59372770871797188272016-01-08T09:38:45.686+00:002016-01-08T09:38:45.686+00:00Great news!
