It's lovely to be asked to make something for the groom and you will pleased to have been asked. There seem to be a plethora of attendants at weddings now-we had a bridesmaid and best man and one little pageboy and that was it! Happy knitting. I'm sure you don't need a class, but there might be some ideas in there. Something to match the edging of the bridal shawl, perhaps? Sounds like a great thing to mull over, if you had any idle moments to do so. Plain stockingette stitch with perhaps a little lace edging, if the boys would tolerate it. A very, very mini square shawl perhaps.

http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/jaunty-sob-pocket-squareLouhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08004651109262737552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8466385.post-25735038533783306192015-01-27T13:05:59.885+00:002015-01-27T13:05:59.885+00:00What a lovely idea - and a sweet desire to involve...What a lovely idea - and a sweet desire to involve you in the wedding. Self striping lace weight from the center out? Plain knitting with dropped sts to weave in yarn and make phony plaid? Or perhaps they want something more subdued to match the shawl. There are various ways to fold them but they start out as a single square. I'm sure you'll have great fun knitting them.
