I think I'd better not try to write this morning. The strain of getting my husband to an early (for him) hospital appt, preceded by the strain of keeping him and the cleaning woman in separate compartments, is all too much. I should be back tomorrow, but Archie will be here, so maybe not. Thursday involves another early appt. Friday looks clear.
Jean, it occurs to me that your husband may be eligible for the Patient Transport Service, particularly as he has qualified for the Blue Badge. Could you ask about this when you get to the appointment? It would mean that you would not have to trouble yourself with the responsibilities of driving and parking the car.

My library came up with Roz Chast's book for me, I can't wait to start!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the ways you have enriched my life!
Wishing you energy and optimism for what sound like three days that will be a strong call on your energy - enjoy your Archie visit.

I have always thought getting on in years my time would be a bit more relaxed....not so. I no longer work outside the home as I did for 45 years but find myself almost as busy as them. It seems you have your hands full also. But doing for our loved ones gives much content and happiness .
