I got to a dr, you’ll be glad to hear. It was a long
sit – I wonder if Monday is not perhaps the best day for the Open Access
clinic. Not “our” doctor, but at least a young woman with whom I was acquainted
from her house calls to my husband. She has prescribed another antibiotic,
rather doubtfully; sent me to the Western General for a chest x-ray (that’s
been done); and taken “bloods”. She promised to phone later in the week with
results.
That’s about it, for now. The kitchen is still not
finished, but nearly. It’s looking good. I didn’t get a nap today, nor much
lunch, and feel fairly rotten – bed time, I think.
SO GLAD you went to the dr. Sorry you are still feeling bad... a good nights sleep and new meds.. hopefully in a few days all well be better! And a new kitchen - something to which you can look forward!
ReplyDeleteOh. Not a very encouraging report. I HOPE the new meds are the right ones for what ails you. And hope you have good reading material while you recover from this bad spell.
ReplyDeletePerdita and Paradox please look after your human. She needs to stay warm, dry, rested and well nourished. I am thinking of her.
ReplyDeleteYou did the right thing! If you don't tell them, they can't know that you need help. Hoping vey hard that things will get back on course now, and it will turn out to have been "just an episode"
ReplyDeleteVery glad you went to see a doctor. I think all of us out here in blog land were worried about you. Hope you soon feel better. Sue
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting us know that you did indeed heed our advice. Sorry you had to wait so long for the appointment but we were all worried.
ReplyDeleteHoping you are better soon and can make use of the new kitchen.
And that new baby is adorable. I keep looking at the wonderful photo.
That's a long rough day when you are feeling badly but I'm glad you went.
ReplyDeleteAdd me to the chorus of glad-you-wents. Hope thenew meds will soon put you right.
ReplyDeleteWasn't your sis meant to bring you yarn? Would love a pic when you feel up to it.

Me too, glad you went, hoping for your rapid recovery, loving the new baby pic.
ReplyDeleteGlad you made the effort to see another doctor... hope the new meds will do the trick... take care we worry about you.
ReplyDeleteSometimes these things take time to shake off. But you need to eat regularly to recover. Perhaps stock up on small, ready to eat items? - Bananas, nuts, cheesy biscuits, Kit-Kats...
ReplyDeleteDear Jean, Thank you so much for writing to us despite your fatigue. We all feel better when we hear from you just a little. Which is kind of selfish of us, when you think about it (:-)) since posting even a short note probably saps your energy. But that's what we feel as concerned followers and friends. So thank you for doing it. And we all strongly hope to hear that you are finally having a very good recovery as soon as possible. Not only is baby Camilla a joy but so is her adorable big sister (at least I am assuming that is who the lovely little girl is). Chloe
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting us know about the Dr. visit. So glad you did it. Syd T.
ReplyDeleteHooray!!!! Well done YOU!!!
