I had a blog-let all written for you just now, when my mouse vanished — poof. So I shut down the computer, and then found the mouse by accident with my toes, being in stocking feet. Tomorrow. Nothing much has changed.

I am very glad you have managed to catch that elusive mouse again. My breakfast mug, given to me by my sister, has a picture of a cat holding a computer mouse. I think of you whenever I use it!

Our cat killed his first (to our knowledge) mouse (non-computer!) this week. We are weirdly proud of him. And also anxious that the mouse proofing we did when we bought our house a decade ago — well before the cat — has failed.
