It’s a bit blowy
out there. Helen and I got once around the garden – 1997 steps; one of those days
when the telefonino isn’t really trying. The mosaicists had a good day,
and went home early. The templates are now the right size, with the design
successfully transferred to them, and adjusted where necessary. Tesserae begin tomorrow,
I think. And I made good progress with the ribbing on the back of the Polliwog.
No luck with Harry&Meghan – I think by now I’ve seen enough snippets and
read enough opinion that I can skip the rest.
I’m afraid that’s
all. I’ll try to be more energetic tomorrow.
It's nice to hear of projects being well in hand.
ReplyDeleteI am told by my son in Connecticut that my phone can count my steps - as you said your phone can count also. But I await further instruction as so how the phone does this.
ReplyDeleteIf you have an iPhone, look for an app called Health. It comes with the phone (I certainly never installed it!), and it keeps track of all sorts of activity. If you have it, it may have started without you :-) Not an iPhone user? Then I have no clue . . . .
DeleteMy PCP husband says that phones are not entirely accurate. But still, a prompt to do better!
DeleteBut Jean, what were your views on the H&M interview? I really think you would have a different take on this as you are American.
ReplyDeleteI too am curious as to your thoughts on the interview. As a Canadian I was saddened by the revelations but not particularly surprised.
ReplyDeleteI'm sick & tired of the whole damn mess. He said, she said, they said . . . it diminishes the whole Royal mystique. I don't blame H&M a bit for wanting out but do they have to keep whining about it?? They could've been so dignified & full of joy as they blazed new trails.
ReplyDeleteI have an elderly fitbit which I keep in a pocket or clip to my shirt. It seems to keep fairly good track.
